About Us
The Lime Zone’s creator is Michelle Jansen – a mother of two children – who saw a gap not just in after school tuition but in education in general. Michelle is a lifelong learner herself and is absolutely passionate about helping her students achieve their potential.
From the middle of 2013 through to the middle of 2019, Michelle ran the business from premises in Clayfield and employed casual staff. Deciding not to renew her lease or continue employing staff, she then ran it from her Clayfield home with just herself tutoring/teaching. By 2022, Michelle was in search of a change so moved to the Western suburbs. Michelle teaches literacy and numeracy up to year ten with her core strength in numeracy.
Michelle’s own educational credentials include a Bachelor of Applied Science (Mathematics and Computing), an Advanced Certificate of Technology (Instructional Multimedia), a Postgraduate Diploma in Business (Electronic Commerce), a Graduate Diploma in Education (Middle Years) and a Graduate Certificate in Analytics with Distinction. She believes that education is the key to Australia’s future. Michelle is a registered teacher with the Queensland College of Teachers.
