A few weeks back (26 November 2013) I had the pleasure of running an iPad class for some retirees from AVEO Clayfield. I guess the average age of attendees would have been 75???
Let me say that it was wonderful to teach those ladies. They literally hung off every word and asked excellent questions.
Retirees and seniors are one of the fastest growing demographics using iPads and similar tablet devices. With easy access to online books, email, special interest groups, etc. it is not hard to understand why.
The ladies finished the class with glowing praise and were literally itching to get home to play with their iPads some more.
